This is the keyboard that came with my first computer – a Apple Macintosh Performa 466. One day I decided to paint all the keys with nail polish. While it was incredibly tacky, it helped me learn how to type without looking at the keys!

The last time I painted anything seriously was about 10 years ago. I found my toolbox among the random junk and holiday decorations, wiped off the cobwebs and found all of my old watercolor paints still in great condition. I would love to start painting again.

I find strange things when I clean. I’ve never seen one of these lizards up here in PA so I’m pretty sure he stowed away in a box I brought back from visiting my family down south. I feel sort of bad for posing this little guys corpse but it’s for art, dammit!

This is our cat Mooshoo aka Meow Master Moosh. Mooshoo fended for himself the first year of his life in the Croatan National Forest until one day he found me and has been with us ever since. He’s an incredibly goofy cat. I believe he’s part monkey and dog. Although sometimes when he’s staring out the window he chatters like a squirrel.

Something to add to the gross human macro thing I’ve been doing lately. I put black eyeshadow onto my dry lips then put a thick layer of MAC clear lip glass on top. Then I created a blue gradient, put more lip glass on top of that and just put big globs of some of the brightest colors from my eyeshadow palette.
Voila! Gross macro photography ensues.
